Day 1 - Fly from Cairo to the Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh

Today, leave the main eclipse group tour in Cairo and fly to Sharm El Sheikh for a four-night stay. Sharm El Sheikh is a popular Egyptian resort at the tip of the Sinai Peninsula on the Red Sea, which is home to Sharm Old Market and Al-Sahaba Mosque.  Historically a small fishing village, the resort offers a rich underwater habitat, beautiful coral reefs and unique diving spots, including wreck diving.

 

Days 2 to 4 - Days at leisure on the Red Sea coast with optional excursions available

Sharm El Sheikh is renowned for its white sandy beaches, crystal clear turquoise waters and stunning coral reefs.

The warm year-round sea temperature is perfect for those looking for relaxation or optional excursions including diving, snorkelling, boat trips and more. Take an adventure and discover the underwater treasures at many diving spots, particularly at Ras Mohammed Marine Park, or soak up the sea views and splendid sunsets from picturesque beaches.

Day 5 - Fly to Cairo

Today join your return flight to Cairo for the last night on the tour. Spend one last night in this vibrant, bustling city.
 

Day 6 - Last day of the tour or perhaps extend your stay

Today is the last day of the tour. Join your return flight home unless you have chosen to extend your stay in Cairo.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN MY TOUR?

Tour Price £1,950 / $2,325 per person*

*Please note that any costings are subject to review in August 2026. After August 2026 prices are governed by the price guarantee in our Terms and Conditions. The USD conversion Rate of Exchange used in this project is 1.19 for GBP prices.

 

  • Arrival and departure Cairo airport transfers and assistance.

  • Accommodation on the tour from leaving the main eclipse tour to check-out (usually around 10am) on Day 6. 

  • Daily breakfast at hotels.

  • All transfers, transportation, flights, and trains as outlined in the itinerary (if applicable).

  • All local excursions outlined in the itinerary unless it has been specified as an ‘Optional Excursion’.

  • The per person cost is based on twin (2 bed) or double (1 bed) hotel rooms with a private bathroom. We are usually able to arrange shared accommodation with a person of the same gender if required - this is known as 'twin share' accommodation.

  • A limited number of rooms for sole occupancy are available at a single room supplement of £1,075 / $1,280.

WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED IN MY TOUR?

  • Optional Excursions mentioned in the tour are offered closer to the tour departure date (approximately 6 months prior to the tour departure).

  • International flights. Our flight partner, Star Travel UK, can assist with an international flight quote approximately 11 months in advance of the tour departure.

  • Additional post Cairo hotel nights outside the extension tour dates.  If required these can be requested at booking stage, with costs being advised approximately 6 months prior to the tour departure.

  • Porterage, gratuities, and tips.
